Protection, security and mobility are the central concern of Steyr-Daimler-Puch Spezialfahrzeug GmbH (SSF), providing our customers with cost-effective, versatile and high-performance products that meet demanding land forces-protection requirements.
The company's main field of activities is the design, development, production and international sales of its range of wheeled and tracked armored vehicles. The two major brands are the armored wheeled PANDUR II in 6x6 and 8x8 configuration and the armored tracked ULAN.
About 3,000 armored vehicles are in service worldwide, more than 1,200 in NATO countries. For testing the vehicles SSF has its own test and training course and prototyping facilities. |
